Can you think of a story in your life that makes people feel sad and angry? (Your answers will vary. Any story that has pain, loss, or suffering can make people feel sad and angry.) Share that story with me through words or pictures. Do you think you'll ever forget the story?

Lily is growing and noticing that she is changing as a person, doing things out of character, like mud pudding and feeling mad at times. Tell of a time when you felt a change in your character when you did something new, different, and brave/scary. Your story needs to be at least a half page long!

There are a number of different themes in "When You Trap a Tiger." Print off this sheet. Select at least 3 themes from the chart and show why you think this is a theme by different things from the story. In other words, show me that you've read it with great examples from the book😉
